Robert Farrelly. I’m a designer, coder and educator working in policy, research and government transformation. I work in Ireland’s Central Design Team, where our work focuses on how government delivers its services, from design guidance, life events and cross-cutting programmes to research and co-design facilitation across the public sector.

I’m an adjunct assistant professor at the UCD School of Education and a visiting lecturer at NCAD, where I’m also completing an MA in Service Design. My research looks at social impact design, particularly belonging and mental health, and at adaptive learning and capability building in education and organisations. That work feeds back into government, where I’m currently working on Design for Public, a community of practice for designers across the Irish public service. Email, LinkedIn, Medium.
